The stunning recycled brick interior of Hillsong’s new recording studio is displayed to perfection in the acoustic bonus track videos recorded for their new album, ‘There Is More’. The wall of solid recycled bricks provides thermal mass, catching […]

When it comes to recycling, re-use is King!

Re-use is sustainable, energy efficient and conserves the environment. It also preserves Australia’s irreplaceable, heritage bricks, often over 100 years old, like these beauties. Sadly today in Australia, when brick buildings are demolished, the bricks are very often taken away and crushed as demolition waste. What a waste! Hundreds of thousands of perfectly good bricks are destroyed […]

Historic Sandstock Bricks rescued from Cudal Hotel

38,000 historic, sandstock bricks were rescued from the Royal Hotel, Cudal. Built in the early 1900s, the historic Hotel had just celebrated its 100th anniversary when it was destroyed by fire in May, 2015. Brick Rescue worked with the demolisher to save the original, historic, sandstock bricks and preserve them for re-use instead of being crushed for road base. […]
